I want to give a try installing oracle in redhat , iam not a linux administrator , or never did anything much in servers , I want to give a try set up oracle 10g in redhat .Is this a very complicated thing to do? I dont want to waste lot of time figuring out issues, I want to give a try if this is simple , please advice me .

Depends on how you define "complicated" and "simple".
If you have never used *nix, it could be quite frustrating to start with.
Oracle installation process is quite simple. OUI does wonders Smile
It is just the little prep-work you have to do.
Everything is quite documented in Docos and at http://www.puschitz.com
