The major Benefit is you become certified bY oracle. what else you want. that is a big achivement in life mind it. As it is not so easy to clear. so all the best friend.
once you become ocp people will call u in there company . If you are not you will have to beg for job.

Dear Friend
The only two benefits of becoming an OCP are (a) you receive the ID or Recognition Card by Oracle Corp declaring you an OCP and (b) a certificate to frame and hang on your wall. thats all .. nothing else; they dont offer you job !!!
as far as job is concerned just forget it that organizations would approach you with a job offer. a great deal of hardship is involved in becoming DBA.
First gain some experience of atleast 1 or 2 years against less or no salary (if you are that lucky to find such job) in multi-operating-system (nt/unix)environment and learn from trial and errors; polish yourself from your own mistakes and when you feel you are perfect... then start disbursing your CV for the post of DBA.. the process is slow and painful
i hope you now have well understood the benefits of becoming an OCP (ORacle Certified Professional)
