i have database running under solaris.. Due to some performance problem i have shutdown the database and tried to restart it. now when i started the database
its says me ..
ora-27146 post/wait initialization failed..
i am not able to rectify it.. please help in this case..
send me the steps how to rectify it..
i have restarted the solaris server tooo.. but still the error is the same..
help me please it a crtical data for me..

hi,
check file /etc/system for proper kernel parameters. had same problem before. Parameters you can find in solaris installation documentation for your version of db.
you are running out of memory semaphores.
