What is the maximum concurrent user that Oracle 8i can handle?

The max supported by Oracle 8i (without OPS) is 32,767. However, in file initSID.ora you need to set params PROCESSES, SESSIONS, and TRANSACTIONS to values high enough to support the number of concurrent users you want. I.e., if SESSIONS is set to 200 then you can not have more than 200 sessions eventhough Oracle could support another 32,567 users.
