Here is the error message I got:
ORA-00600 internal error code, arguments [[4146]], [[1301,[[1296]],[[]],[[]],[[]],[[]],[[]]
ORA-06512; at line 1
What should I do

Call Oracle support. This is an internal error that needs to be handled by oracle. They will want a copy of the alert.log and the associating trace file...don't wait on this...call now!

Sorry Joe but I have to disagree. I have seen this error quite a few times in the past few years and have not had to call Oracle. I know the message for the error says call support but... This error can be generated in many ways. I have gotten them because a user was doing PLS/SQL incorrectly. So with that in mind look at this error logically. If the error has not happened in the past and now all the sudden it appears in your alert log and there has been no changes to the database then ignore it until it happens again. If it starts to be frequent then check with your users and see what they are doing. If you cannot determine the problem then call Oracle. They can help you find what application is causing the error.
If this error happens as soon as you install Oracle then call support because it is most likely a bug and they can direct you to the right patch.

it might not hurt to check metalink if you have access. sometimes the exact same error does turn up for others, and once in a while they even release information about what caused it and why. patch information may also be available.
