Hi,

Can I load Oracle9i Database Enterprise/Standard/Personal Edition for Windows NT/2000/XP Pro version on Windows ME?

If not is there any way to load on Windows ME?

Regards,
Sarma

I don't think so, but I can be mistaken. As far as I'm concerned, I thought that ME was a spin-off of the Win9x platform, while XP is built on WinNT technology. Those are not quite the same internally.

But you could try and install the Personal Oracle 8.1.7 or 9i for Windows 98. I believe that is a better option, perhaps that will accept ME. But I haven't seen an Oracle DB running on ME yet.

Hi Maaher,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I will try to do load Personal Oracle 8.1.7 or 9i for

Windows 98 on ME.

Thanks,

Sarma
