hi steve
thanks for yor reply
i dont have any problem with oracle 8 and developer 2000 form5.
But when i tries to install oracle8i and developer 2000 on a standalone
machine its giving me a problem.
i install oracle 8i successfully on win2000 advance server, but when i start
installation og developer2000 setup removes entry of oracle8i from registry
and it create its differnt home for deveoper2000. when i tries o reinstall
oracle8i its setup gives me a error message of oracles older version found
setup can not continue.

Hi,
1.First remove all oracle products from disks and from the registry also.
2.Restart the system.
3.Do install forms 5 first to its default home.
4. Then install 8i into new oracle home.
Hope this will solve your problem
