Hi guys,

This is strange problem to me since long time.

1. I have created Oracle database on win NT 4.0 with OS administrator log in.

2. After some days(with OS administrator log in) if i connect to SVRMGRL it is giving ORA-12560 TNS: Protocal adapter error and connecting SVRMGR>

3. connect internal/PASSWORD

4. again it is giving the ORA-12560 TNS: Protocal adapter error and not connecting to internal.

5. If I give internal/password@string then it is connecting.

Anybody please help me out from protocal adaptar problem.

GO TO THE DOS PROMPT..

C:>SET ORACLE_SID=ORCL

C:>SVRMGR30

IT WILL DEFINITELY CONNECT THE INTERNAL USER.
