My Database is ORACLE8
Platform : Windows NT
The problem is i am not able to open it...
some body as deleted the control file...
With Available Datafiles and logfiles...
is it possible to create a Database....
here i don't have control file..
but i have CREATE CONTROLFILE Script.....
SVRMGRL>here when i am running the script....
it is giving ORA-001503 ERROR...

SIR,

DO ONE THING .FIRST START THE DATABASE IN THE NOMOUNT DATABASE. THEN ISSUE THE CREATE CONTROL FILE COMMAND TO RECREAT E THE CONTROL FILE.THEN DO THE RECOVER DATABASE.
THEN OPEN IT.
