Thanks. but I had checked thoroughly about my creation and I had tested out something as suggested by someone:- When connecting to DB1, using "Select name from v$database", I saw DB1. But when connecting to DB2, I saw DB1 again. I'm using Oracle 8i @ Sun Solaris. I had changed and export the ORACLE_SID before connection. Could you advise why I'm getting the same Database Name when I'm actually connecting to different Database?
