Hi Team

We are in the process of setting up an Oracle portal using Oracle Portal 10.1.4.0.2. We used a password for orcladmin while setting
up the OID on Database server. We used this same password while installing Infrastructure (SSO) and portal on webserver for
orcladmin. We are now in a need to change the password for orcladmin on OID (we know the current password). Question is, if we
try the following method, would it automatically change orcladmin password both at OID level & Insfrastructure level (SSO/POTAL). We
need the passwords to be same in all 3 places of OID, SSO, Portal for orcladmin & do not intend to disturb any installation. This
is what we are planning to follow for changing the orcladmin password

I) Changing cn=orcladmin password if ODS password is known

II)$oidpasswd conn=Connect string

III)reset_su_password=true

IV)Command would prompt for ODS password

V) ex: $oidpasswdconn=Connect string of MR reset_su_passwword=true

VI)If this does not change automatically, then can we get the details of how to update the passwords of orcladmin for SSO & portal.

Please provide the solution

Thanks and Regards
Tushar

Which orcladmin are you talking about? The OID superuser orcladmin, or the orcladmin within your realm? They are different people, you know. I would change the former in the oidadmin console, and the latter with the oiddas.
But tere are other ways, as you have said.
