Hi all,
I am trying to copy a record from one d/base to another via db link. It takes 2 sec to retrieve a record in remote d/base, however when I use link I am getting TNS-12535 error. Connect_timeout in LISTENER.ORA is set to 10. I've changed it to 60 and it didn't help. What can I do to resolve this problem???
Thanks,

Thanks for reply. Do you know why in this particular case I'd have to set it to indefinite wait. All my other d/bases configured the same: connect_timeout = 10 and they work fine. What could contribute to timeout? I am curious to know why.
Thanks
