Hello,

Forgive in advance for asking a stupid question (I am new to Oracle) but I'm having a strange problem. I've installed Oracle 9.2.0 on RedHat 7.3 for development purposes. After creating a new database with the Database Configuration Assistant everything works fine. As soon as I reboot the oracle host I get the 'ORA-12541: TNS: no listener' error. I start the listener with lsnrctl but then get the 'ORA-12514: TNS:LISTENER COULD NOT RESOLVE service_name' error. How do I resolve this problem? I've deleted and created the database several times with the same result (working the breaking after reboot). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam Lintz
