HI READERS,
IT IS REALLY AN URGENT PROBS.

I HAVE INSTALLED ORACLE 9I ON SUN SPARC.
AND NOW I AM GONING TO CREATE DATABASE WITH CONFG ASST.
AT 46% COMPALETION OF DATA BASE IT GIVES ME AN ERROR THAT
ORA-27102 OUT OF MEMORY.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT SOULD I DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

EARLY RESPONSE WILL APPRECIATED.

Hi,

Have you looked at the trace files? It might also help to search for this error on Metalink.

oerr ora 27102
27102, 00000, "out of memory"
// *Cause: Out of memory
// *Action: Consult the trace file for details

hi,
The Drive / mountpoint in which you are installing oracle should have enough space to do the creation..
If u r sure of the space availability ..
Try creating the database manually on Solaris.. Its allways recommended..
