Hello all!
If someone can just clear out this subject for me that would be great.
I have read somewhere, (which I vainly tried finding) that Oracle sometimes updates tables and index statistics as rows are being inserted and deleted to the tables.
Is there any truth to these. If so, when does it or doesn't it update statistics?
Hoping to hear from you and get this concept cleared.
