hello,

when doing an automatic daily export of the database (at night), I'm getting the following message:

Export: Release 7.3.4.0.0 - Production on Fri Aug 1 22:00:01 2003

Copyright (c) Oracle Corporation 1979, 1996. All rights reserved.

Connected to: Oracle7 Server Release 7.3.4.0.0 - Production
With the distributed and parallel query options
PL/SQL Release 2.3.4.0.0 - Production
Export done in WE8ISO8859P1 character set

About to export the entire database ...
. exporting tablespace definitions
. exporting profiles
. exporting user definitions
. exporting roles
. exporting resource costs
. exporting rollback segment definitions
. exporting database links
. exporting sequence numbers
EXP-00002: error in writing to export file
EXP-00222:
System error message 4
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

there is enough space on the disks and when doing a manual exp, it works ...
can anybody please help me what's going wrong?

I looked up the error message on sco unix, the system error 4 has something to do with 'interrupted system call', but what can that be?

thanks!
