Folks,

This is the second time it has happened. Instance shutdown with this error. I was able to bring it back with no problems. I am attaching the info I gathered from the trace file. The only common action that was carried out around the time shutdown happened was that there was an update operation carried out over a DBLINK (Distributed Txn).

Any advice?

Hi,

This sounds like a typical Oracle bug. Apply the latest patch-set; if you still get the problem, log a TAR with Oracle Support.
