Hi
Ihave oracle 9i (9.2.0.1) server installed on windows 2000 platform.I am getting the ORA 600: Internal error very frequently every day. Due to this everyday a large no. of trace files get generated. Sometimes it so happens that a very big trace file of 11 to 12 GB gets generated and it hangs everything else. The errors that usually comes are:
ORA-600 [[KGHSSGFR2]]
ORA-600[[17182]]
ORA-600[[KGHFRF2]]
ORA-600 [[12333]]
ORA-600[[4602]]
ORA-600 ARGUMENT [[KXSCLSR-1]]
ORA-600 [[QES3TUNPTMPTABL:1]]
ORA-600 [[KXSMBB: LBND]]
The oracle guys say that this is due to memory corruption. A patch is needed for the same.Suggest me what can I do get rid of this problem.

Neha,
If Oracle Support states that a patch is needed, please apply the patch.
They should be able to direct you to the right location for this patch.

hai neha, some times if blocks are corrpted so u will get ora-600 error,for avoiding this, once please checksum ur blocks, or apply patches correctly.
