I dont understand the authentication phenomenon in Oracle. SYSDBA and SYSOPER privileges really confuse me. In my database any user can log on using SYSDBA Authentication. Also SYS Password is ineffective. One can log On using SYS Account with out password although I have changed the password many times.
Kindly provide me the details of internal and external users and their respective Privileges.
