Can I have a list of jobs what the DBA people do in the day-to-day activities, in the order of most frequent job to the least frequent job?

it all depends ..on your company/client needs,resources available,budget,your experience/skill set/interests.
You will be really surprised when you come across the range of functions that a DBA does...
right from Unix Administration to License Management.
from data modelling to Java programming.
from Performance tuning to Project management.
from Disaster recovery to Pl/Sql development.
from Capacity planning to training developers.

I recently saw a job Ad asking for an Oracle DBA with experience configuring Cisco Routers !!

Didnt mean to scare you, but the economy dictates job responsibilities these days.

but there are certain core DBA tasks such as Backup&Recovery,Database performance tuning,schema management, Oracle Installation & configuration,Oracle Networking,Database migrations,Database Security etc..that you can start focusing on...
