hi..

I just installed 10g on my linux box. I can access the oracle enterprise manager front end locally, i.e. by typing http://localhost:5500/em

I have a firewall on my linux box so this means i cant access the EM from an external/other machine. I would like to be able to access the EM from work or anywhere else by typing the IP address.. I have tried to disable the firewall and it does work if i type http://88.96.23.33:5500/em

I would like to be able to access it externally but i dont want to disable the firewall. Is there a way i can only open port 5500? i have looked at the firewall settings and all it does is either enable or disable the firewall.

Im using redhat 3ES.

THanks
