hi all!

i want to know about:

1) if i want to install Oracle Database 10g which Linux distro is more suitable and from where i can get help for installation?

2) if i want to install Oracle Developer 10g which Linux distro is more suitable and from where i can get help for installation?

3) if i develop a FORM or REPORT in Developer 10g on Linux platform, can i compile it on a Windows or Solaris without any change??

currently i have SUSE 9 installed on my machine, may i have to upgrade to current version or change the distro??

Your questions are very generic and are 'googlable' and so is easily 'ignorable'.

Oracle officially supports only a few Linux flavours. You can pick what ever you want (or whatever is avilable)

I have no idea about forms/reports. May be someone at Forms forum can answer this. If you want to move this question to Forms forum, please let us know.
